San Antonio Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille Opens November 21

November 7, 2011 | Press Releases

SAN ANTONIO (November 7, 2011) – Perry’s Restaurants, a Texas-based, family-owned group of fine-dining restaurants will hold a ribbon cutting Friday, November 18 at 1 p.m. to celebrate Perry’s first San Antonio-area location of Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille. The restaurant, located at 15900 La Cantera Parkway, at The Falls in The Shops at La Cantera, will officially open Monday, November 21, at 4 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 210-558-6161 or visiting www.PerrysSteakhouse.com.

“We are excited to become part of the community and bring our family legacy of excellent steaks, seafood and signature dishes to San Antonio,” said Chris Perry, founder and owner of Perry’s Restaurants. “Every Perry’s Steakhouse has a unique flair to reflect the life and spirit of the community, but particularly in San Antonio we’ve added new design elements that bring a more casual elegance that will be the future of Perry’s.”

Famous for its selection of butcher-fresh Prime beef, dry-aged in house for 28 days, Perry’s is also known for its specialty, Perry’s Famous Pork Chop, which is dried, cured and roasted, then caramelized and topped with Perry’s signature Herb-Garlic butter. Also, Perry’s Bar 79 offers Social Hour featuring half-price appetizers and specials on wine and martinis, including the popular “Pick Three” Mini Martini Trio, weekdays from 4 – 6:30 p.m. as well as live entertainment Thursday through Saturday evenings.

Perry’s San Antonio will seat 350 guests and offer four private dining rooms. Occupying 10,000 square feet of space in The Falls in The Shops at La Cantera, Perry’s will feature a first-floor entry, with an elevated view at the bar towards the back of the restaurant overlooking the local shops. At Bar 79, floor-to-ceiling windows will frame the view and can be opened for an open-air lounge experience. The new open design of the restaurant will feature glimpses into the kitchen for diners to take a peek at the chefs preparing each dish.

Founded in 1979 as a butcher shop, Perry’s Restaurants operates Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, with nine locations in Houston, Austin, Dallas and now San Antonio. For more information on Perry’s Steakhouse in San Antonio, please visit www.PerrysSteakhouse.com.
