San Antonio Express-News: Pub Crawl
This might be the perfect day for hard-core shoppers with good taste and a good appetite: Shop til you are about to drop at the Shops at La Cantera, hit “Social Hour” at Bar 79 in Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill, and have a light dinner off the bar menu, or order off the dinner menu and go whole hog. And I’d suggest starting in the bar with the Martini 79 ($12 for all cocktails on the mixology menu) — perhaps the best martini I’ve ever had, topped with olives stuffed with blue cheese. The bar also offers a flight of three martinis that is very popular. Excellent idea.
