Perry’s Austin location at 114 S. Seventh St. opened in 2008. About 1,775 square feet of bar area was remodeled by Austin-based Sabre Commercial Inc., while the interior design was handled by SK Interiors of Houston.

Perry’s was started in 1979 in Clear Lake, south of Houston, as a butcher shop and deli and kept growing. Now the chain has several Houston- area restaurants along with locations in Dallas, San Antonio and Chicago. A Denver location will open soon.

The new Austin bar and adjoining patio seat 125 guests. The restaurant’s main dining area can accommodate 250.
