LONESTAR LIVE – Steakhouse in Austin offers pork chop lunch for less than $1; how and when to cash in
Not all steakhouses in Austin, Texas, are the same, because not all steakhouses offer a deal as ludicrous as 79-cent pork chops.
Enter: Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille. To show appreciation for fans of the Houston-born restaurant chain, Perry’s is throwing it back to the days when dining out was affordable.
Rather than paying $19 for the pork chop Friday lunch at Perry’s, which includes a “generous lunch-cut portion” of the steakhouse’s signature seven-finger-high pork chop, whipped potatoes, homemade applesauce and fresh-baked bread, guests can soon cash in on all the above for just 79 cents. The price point of this one-day-only offer is to honor the founding year of Perry’s, which started in 1979 as Perry’s Butcher Shop & Deli in Houston, Texas.
