There’s a new steakhouse in Denver that is worth the drive: Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille, 8433 Park Meadows (the Vistas at Park Meadows).
The steakhouse is just the second one outside of Texas – and the 11th overall – for the Houston-based, family-owned restaurant chain. The 11,000-square-foot restaurant is stunning, with an open concept kitchen, a towering wine wall, an island bar and four private dining rooms for groups and special occasions.
Chris Perry, president and owner of the restaurants, grew up learning about meat from his dad, a butcher. “Our famous seven-finger-high pork chop is a signature dish that is carved table-side,” he said.
Your eyes will pop and your jaw will drop at the sight of the pork rib roast. It’s dried, cured and roasted, then caramelized and topped with Perry’s herb-garlic butter. The pork chop costs $36.95 and comes with veggies to share. Of course, you’ll find plenty of beef options too.
On Fridays, the eatery is open for lunch where a smaller portion of the pork chop is served for $12.95 and comes with whipped potatoes and applesauce. Details: 1-303-792-2571, perryssteakhouse.com.
