HoustonPress: Top 5 I-10 Eats
Perry’s Steakhouse Memorial City was rated number 1 on “Top 5: I-10 Eats” featured in the HoustonPress:
Perry’s gets the number one spot based solely on one of my favorite dishes in all of Houston–that famous pork chop. It’s more like half a pig, rather than a chop, and it’s carved tableside. What the waiter sets in front of you could feed three people. It’s as beautiful as it is tasty. The meat is very tender, and has this salty and sugary outer-crust. Try dipping a piece of the loin in some applesauce and let me know how that works out for you.
