79-Cent Pork Chop “Flashback Friday” Scheduled for October 18

In honor of the year it first opened as a butcher shop in 1979, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille has announced they will be hosting their next “Flashback Friday” special on Friday, October 18. As a show of appreciation for its loyal $11.95 Pork Chop Friday lunch patrons, Perry’s will choose one Friday this October to offer a 79-cent Pork Chop Friday lunch to the first 100 visitors to each of their nine Steakhouse & Grille locations in Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio.

“We are so appreciative of the support we receive from our patrons and the community,” said Chris Perry, owner of Perry’s Restaurants, “and, as a thank you to our loyal fans, we’re pleased to continue our Flashback Friday lunch this fall. During the Flashback Friday event this past June, all 100 specially-priced chops were claimed at each location within 15 minutes of opening, and we’re looking forward to an equally enthusiastic crowd this October.”

Perry’s opens for lunch at 11 a.m. on Fridays. On Flashback Friday, the first 100 people in line outside the restaurant at 11 a.m. will receive cards redeemable for a 79-cent Pork Chop Friday lunch. Patrons must be 12 and older to be eligible for the giveaway. This special offer is for dine-in only and available on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations will be accepted earlier than 11:30 a.m. on the day of Flashback Friday lunch.

Perry’s Famous Pork Chop is dried, cured and roasted, then caramelized and topped with Perry’s signature herb-garlic butter sauce and served with whipped potatoes and homemade applesauce. Every Friday at lunch, Perry’s serves 3,000 pork chops, company-wide, across its nine steakhouse locations.
